I’ve loved Stargate since I first began watching Stargate SG-1 on SCI FI Channel in its 6th season. I quickly caught up and became addicted. My family can attest to that fact by the number of times I’ve watched most of the episodes and by the number of DVDs I own that have Stargate somewhere in their title.
I was broken-hearted to find out Stargate Atlantis had been canceled, but that heartbreak was quickly overrun with excitement when I discovered that Stargate wasn’t gone from television forever. Stargate Universe arrived soon after and I again found myself immersed in the world of Stargate. Universe’s cancellation disappointed me, but I wasn’t that surprised when the news came. I enjoyed some aspects of SGU, but in all honesty, I never developed a passion for the show in the same way I became passionate about Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
However, I love the universe of Stargate, and SGU has its place in that universe. For that reason, I remain a fan of the show.
