Members of the Stargate program end up stranded on an ancient ship called Destiny many galaxies away from Earth’s Milky Way.
The odd assortment of military and civilian personnel are unprepared for the journey, but an attack on the Icarus base meant they had no choice but to travel through the stargate. However, their arrival on the Destiny wasn’t the choice of most of the people involved, after Dr. Nicholas Rush took the final opportunity to dial the ninth chevron before Icarus was destroyed.
Shortly after arriving on the Destiny, the group of people discover that they are quickly running out of breathable air.
